Somerville Plating Co. Terms and Conditions

By accepting this Purchase Order, the supplier agrees to the following terms and conditions.

General Requirements

Flow Down Requirements

Vendors shall flow down all applicable specifications and requirements to their sub-tier suppliers to maintain consistency with the original Somerville Purchase Order.

Record Retention

Vendors shall maintain documentation of all products and services per internal procedures, retaining records for:

• Aircraft: Minimum 10 years

• Flight Safety Aircraft: Minimum 40 years

Personnel Qualification

Vendors shall maintain records of qualification and competence for employees performing work related to this order.

Communication

Vendors shall communicate with Somerville via email or other permanent means regarding any issues affecting products or services.

Performance Monitoring

Somerville monitors suppliers’ on-time delivery and quality performance.

Inspection and Verification

Vendors shall apply appropriate test, inspection, and verification methods to all products and services provided.

Statistical Techniques

When specified on the Purchase Order, vendors shall use statistical techniques for product acceptance and certification.

Quality System

Vendors are encouraged to maintain a recognized quality management system. At a minimum, the quality system must be documented, ensure that all order requirements are controlled, and provide evidence of product and service conformity.

Use of Customer-Designated Providers

Vendors shall use customer-designated or approved external providers for sub-tier processes when applicable.

Nonconforming Products or Services

Vendors must promptly notify Somerville of any nonconforming products or services to obtain disposition instructions.

Counterfeit Prevention

Counterfeit parts or materials are strictly prohibited.

Change Notification

Vendors shall notify Somerville in advance of any changes to location, processes, or products and services (including those of external providers) to obtain consent and approval.

Test Specimens

Vendors shall provide test specimens for inspection, verification, investigation, or auditing when requested.

Right of Entry

Somerville reserves the right of entry to any supplier or sub-tier supplier facility to verify facilities, processes, and documentation to ensure conformance with Purchase Order requirements.
